Super sweet and genuinely cares about students! As long as you genuinely put in effort for the three major assignments you will be fine!

The class was very in depth, and some of the readings were long. She will cold call you if you don't participate, but she is nice and very knowledgeable. Exams were hard, but you can maintain a good grade with the essays.

Unfortunately she isn't the clearest with due dates/communicating what's expected, but in return she is very lenient with extensions. Will give you an extra week to write a paper. Class is moderately interesting and grading isn't hard. Readings aren't necessary but you should know the general ideas

While the class itself is not a ton of work, the midterm was insanely difficult and pretty much everything she teaches throughout the semester was fair game. Final was easier, but only because the TA made it. Did not even get grades back on the essays, just a final grade at the end of the year.
