Teaches basic common-sense marketing in class, with barely any homework. Gives absolute belt to ass for exams. Genuinely no relevance to in-class teaching. You have to read the entire textbook cover to cover to know what you're doing on the exam. Also, a heavy language barrier.

He is mad chill and actually teaches the material really well. The tests are moderately hard. It is pretty difficult to get an A but B+ to A- is completely doable.

Super cool guy and available for help if you seek him out. Go to office hours and utilize your TAs. Don't skip class and take notes on every lecture. His lectures could get confusing but he always tried to make the concepts interesting and applicable to real life. The most important thing is to study the problem sets because they're practically identical to the exams. Work hard, ask questions, and don't be afraid to approach him with concerns–– he's a super nice guy!

If you are not her chosen few students who she likes - it is a struggle to get through. I thought I left this kind of teaching style back in high school. If you are someone she likes - this course is thought-provoking and not just a typical philosophy memorization fest (makes you actually think). If you aren't, and god forbid you have your phone out in any way, I suggest students to swap to a different lecturer.

Scheufele can be intimidating but she is the best professor! I've had her twice now and she is so passionate about her courses. She explains materially clearly as long as you keep up with readings the class is easy to follow. Everyone says shes a tough grader but I think shes actually extremely fair and actually gives more points than deserved on many assignments.

Professor Rozonoer is very underrated as a professor and instructor. She's very well organized and gives clear instructions on what will be on the quizzes and exams. Just take notes and pay attention in class, and you'll do great. She's a very sweet woman as well and shows that she definitely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. I couldn't speak her praises more!

Some of her course materials seem to lean toward collectivism and Karl Marx’s ideas. Many of the materials focus on the negative effects of individualism and capitalism, but I would have appreciated more discussion of their benefits as well. Other than that, she is very well organized and welcoming toward students.

Very unorganized and taught from a piece of paper. Never prepared slides or handouts other than the quizzes that were clearly made with ChatGPT. Always late to class and sometimes never showed at all.

Fr. Larrey clearly understands what he is teaching, and his explanations are easy to follow even for non-philosophy majors. The course materials are all interesting and up to date.

he is the best!!! lectures aren’t thattt interesting but im not thattt into philosophy so… hw is basically j comments on the reading. u can skim the reading. no exams or anything crazy. just papers that were short w limited word count. wasn’t strict abt attendance at all but i do recommend attending bc notes r helpful when writing papers. his office hours r online but he’s great over email too.

Nice and knowledgeable but intimidating. Office hours are helpful but come prepared w questions. Do the homework and extra practice. Exams are rlly hard so prepare prepare prepare. Review sessions are run my TA and weren’t worth going to imo. Do the hw. Class is very fast paced so if u miss a class u HAVE to catch up and review ppts before u attend next class. Overall, def not easy but not impossible if u put in the effort.

There’s prob easier Econ profs but the class was doable. Lectures can feel unplanned and random but usually relate to the course in some way. Really helpful if u go to office hours. TAs do grading and altho TA discussions are mandatory they aren’t helpful. Do the problem sets over and over and u should be fine. If u get an A on the final u get an A on the class so rlly lock in for that

the BEST professor ever!! had him for perspectives and the course easily turned into my favorite class!! attendance is mandatory but every class is so interesting you'll want to go anyways. as long as you put in the work you'll end with a good grade!

Extremely boring professor and just as rude/unkind. Don't take him unless you want to go back and forth via email.

i took us history ii with fr. murphy and i thought it was pretty sufficient (im not a history major). the papers were kinda long but still doable. i wouldn't really recommend if you doze off in class / get distracted easily since there's no notes or slides at all. he's a very kind guy though!

prof lee is very kind! she always makes the time to be available for office hours and is just a great person. there's an assigned textbook but i used it once maybe. take her class!

Con Law with Prof. Bailey is 100% my favorite class I've taken at BC. He is so knowledgeable and has such amazing experience in the field of law. Very interesting lectures, and easy to do well if you participate and do the readings. 10/10 recommend for anyone.

I loved Professor Bailey's class. A good amount of reading and lecture but not hard to do well if you participate and stay engaged. A great professor, super kind. Wants everyone to do well.

Difficult grader on papers, but cares a lot about the topics. Don't take this if you just want an easy class

One of my favorite classes. Very easy to stay engaged, and he makes all lectures interesting and fun. You do need to study for the tests as they are specific. 100% recommend!

Class is quite repetitive and, honestly, harder than you would expect. Still interesting, but a decent amount of reading

Genuinely one of my favorite professors I have had so far at BC. Truly cares about his students and makes the class so interesting and meaningful. I learned so much, and it really sticks with you. Cannot recommend enough!!!

Class was interesting, but definitely just like a lot of other Lynch classes. Will say her class structure is very slow and quite difficult to stay awake. Very wonderful and talented person with a true passion for topics.

Goated professor. One of my favorite classes I have taken at BC.

Professor Alejandro is engaging, passionate, intentional, and kind. The immersion was exhausting and I was a little overwhelmed, but it was still a very meaningful and cool experience and I learned a lot. The Perusalls were VERY time consuming and boring. Grading was lenient.

Professor Crotty is an awesome professor and clearly really loves teaching, although she does have an obsession with Ireland that made for a kind of unexpected secret third theme of the class. I thought the assignments were relevant, clear, and fairly graded. A solid choice for Lit Core.

Much more like a political history than an exploration of current dynamics. Lectures were interesting enough, readings were unnecessary, assignments were straightforward and fairly graded. Professor Alshamary was very nice and certainly knowledgeable, I just wish the material was more relevant.

The only thing that made this class so bad was that 85% of your grade is determined by the midterm and the final, but I think a lot of people exaggerate how hard they are. Practice exams were very helpful and lectures were informative (albeit boring) and prepared you well if you paid attention.

What a character. Most I’ve ever learned in a class at BC and would 100% take again. Hard exams, heavy workload, and I would have appreciated more emphasis on essays rather than tests, but I really did thoroughly enjoy this class and have high respect for Professor Dipasquale. Don’t expect an A.
