This course focuses on the genetics of eukaryotic and microbial organisms. Topics covered in the course include transmission and molecular genetics, with a focus on the regulation of gene expression, mechanisms of mutation and inheritance, as well as an introduction to genomic methods. Topics may also include evolutionary genetics, epigenetics, and cancer genetics.
