This course will follow a hypothetical workers career decisions over the course of her life, from graduation to retirement, and explore how differences in the structures of public policy and employer practices result in different outcomes in Ireland versus a comparable worker in the United States.Our aims are:To better understand how those policy differences influence labor market outcomes; andTo better understand how those policy differences influence labor market outcomes; andTo hone our ability to communicate about those policies and outcomes through concise, well-researched, and interesting written work.
