How can Christian ethics respond to the intractability of historical evil and the difficulty of structural change? This course will work on the borderlines of political theology, public theology, liberation theology, Christian social ethics, and Catholic social teaching, reading for
example, Bohoeffer, Moltmann, Solle, Day, Niebuhr, Murray, Hauerwas, Sobrino, Katongole, and additional examples of global Christian ethics and politics.
