The first part is dedicated to the historical romantic drama of Martnez de la Rosa, Duque de Rivas, Garca Gutirrez, Harzenbuch, and Zorilla. The second part concentrates on Larra'sArtculos literarios y de costumbres, and the third focuses on the lyric poetry of Espronceda, Bcquer, Campoamor, and Rosala de Castro.
