This one-credit pass/fail course allows students to engage in the close reading of selected sacred Jewish texts. Students will, as a group, chooseTalmudicand Halakhic works to read together and discuss along with the instructor. The course readings will be assigned in English translation, although students are encouraged to explore the original Hebrew and Aramaic. This course credit counts towards Boston College's Jewish Studies Minor.
