There are few things that have the power to create or destroy value like mergers and acquisitions. This course provides exposure to students who may be interested in careers in management, investment banking, and consulting. However, this class will be very useful to any student interested in a business career as virtually every company will eventually merge, acquire or be acquired. The focus will be on developing a students skills on how to successfully navigate mergers throughout their career by covering the basic tools kits, such as identifying potential targets, deal negotiation strategies, company due diligence, and post-merger integration.
