This course explores the theory and practice of security, quality assurance, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Topics include verification vs. validation, test case design techniques, test coverage criteria, security-focused development and verification practices, as well as static and dynamic analysis tools. Additional areas of focus include industry standards, test-driven development, and quality assurance for maintenance and legacy applications. From a project management perspective, the course covers key methods, tools, and techniques related to Plan Quality, Perform Quality Assurance, and Perform Quality Control processes.
