This course explores the fundamental principles of aerospace engineering through a human-centered lens, emphasizing the interconnectedness between the development of aerospace tools and techniques and their societal impact. We will gain a foundational understanding of key aerospace concepts, including aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, and control, while simultaneously examining their implications on society and the environment. We will learn through a combination of lectures, discussions, problem sets, case studies, hands-on activities, and a collaborative project on surveillance and drones.
