This course will examine the philosophical presuppositions of artificial intelligence and new technologies. The philosophical framework in which we will move is the Aristotelian-Thomistic conceptual context in order to further understand and make explicit the ramifications of topics such as machine learning, big data and interacting with artificial intelligence in society today.
