This course examines various business disciplines as they apply to the sports industry. The course examines professional and intercollegiate sports providing students an understanding of the history and modern trends in sports business and an opportunity to use sports to apply broader business concepts such as negotiating, investing and valuation, collective bargaining, monopolies, real estate, media, startups and business strategy.
