Awful professor! let him know that my first language was not English and that I had difficulty understanding his instructions. He put me in the spot in front of all the students by saying "Language barrier will not be an excuse not to do homework" When I never asked him to be excused from HW, I only asked him if he could help me.

Prof. Mitsein is the perfect professor if you are actually looking to learn. If you pay attention in class, do the work on time, and reach out for help when you need it, you will have no problems. If you are just looking for an easy A, this is definitely not the class for you. After taking FWS with him, I feel like a much better writer.

This professor is probably the worst choice for FWS. This professor is an academic, and treats everyone as if they have been in academia for years such as he has. Prep for college is good, though he is more cold and ruthless in his methods with little understanding for mistakes or anything outside of his class. Avoid this professor!

This professor is awful. He asks way too much out of a freshman year writing course. When you ask him a question, he's really unclear, and says stuff like, "you can find this on xyz website." He'll post stuff on an assignment to reference while you do it, and then tell you it shouldn't be used to frame your paper. Avoid him at all costs.
