Scores average answered numerical ratings. Older evaluation records may summarize whole sections and have no written comment. Written reviews are counted separately. How scores work
Very disorganized and inconsistent with due dates, Canvas was rarely used. You're marked absent if you don't bring the assigned book to class. As a Literature core class (Sick Lit), the subject was interesting, but the class often felt dull with long silences. Despite that, the grading was fair and I still learned a lot.
Professor Yargo was one of the kindest and most memorable professors I've had, especially as a first-year freshman. He was incredibly thoughtful, with a unique and quirky personality that made his class both welcoming and fun. I'd absolutely recommend him.
I once heard you can tell the intelligence of a person in their ability to explain complex concepts/subjects and simplify them. Every time Yargo spoke, he had the ability to make even the simplest things, complicated. He's the type of person that speaks a whole lot without actually adding anything meaningful to a conversation. Highly disorganized.
