The lit core was a class on fairytales so the readings for each class were short and easy to comprehend. There were 2 essays the semester which were graded harshly. In her feedback she was very general of improvements to make which were unhelpful for future essays. Even during meetings she were vague on what to improve to do better in the class.

Dr. Ernst is a very well-spoken, and organized professor. She encourages group discussion and creates a really relaxed, open, learning environment. She assigned 3 major essays this semester and provided great feedback on my first drafts that allowed me to succeed in the final draft. She also teaches at Emmanuel College where I took this course.
