Kelly now teaches at University of San Diego, he gives no tests (except final) or homework, although in order to be prepared for class you have to read the readings, & you have to write 2 essays at the end of semester. Hes very contradictory & does know his material but makes offensive assumptions about students. Would not take unless Phil major.
Had him has a visting professor and he was fantastic. Really dug into material, great balance of lecture and discussion. Always super helpful and crystal clear about instructions. Highly recommended.
Very energic & personable. Makes cass interesting. Always available and concerned that everyone is getting the material. Makes sometimes boring topics interesting.
Very insightful professor. Brings probing questions to class. I always feel challenged after leaving his class. The best is that he is always available for extra help and review sessions. Great professor! Definitely take his class.
Since the class is small, he knows all of us by name. Allows for much better communication. Wished me a happy Christmas as I handed in my final, which is always nice. Young and energetic, makes material more interesting than it deserves to be.
