Poorly organized course with unclear expectations and inconsistent communication. Feedback often felt unhelpful, and grading criteria weren't always transparent. I left the class feeling that my time and effort weren't being respected.
This class was a major disappointment. The teaching was unclear, the course felt poorly organized, and much of the time spent in class felt unproductive. I left feeling that my time and tuition were not respected. I strongly believe the department should review the quality of instruction and take student feedback seriously.
Expectations and grading criteria changed without warning, communication was poor, and concerns were often dismissed. No meaningful grading feedback, any ask for clarification was met with attitude. Classroom environment felt discouraging rather than supportive. Multiple issues throughout the semester unresolved suggest a pattern. Do not recommend.
Communication was inconsistent, feedback on assignments lacked clarity and timeliness, & questions from students were frequently dismissed rather than addressed constructively. This created an environment where it was difficult to feel supported or confident in the learning process
This was the worst professor I had during my time at BC. Class was a waste of my time and did not feel that I got the value of what I paid for it. I do not recommend anyone take this professor or his negotiations course. Disappointing semester due to poor professor, wish I did not take this professor or class.
Unprofessional, angry, bitter, can tell is deeply unhappy/insecure, uses little power he has on students. Blatantly fabricates stories about his career to sound more intelligent/successful than he is.Course is useless, curriculum consists of memorizing fake moral codes that he overtly doesn't abide by.Subjective grading.Politically charged/divisive
Unprofessional lecturer with a defensive and combative attitude towards students. Felt professor did not bring any added value, most of the class was peer-to-peer negotiations without assistance or reviewing an older, outdated chapter books. Left class feeling frustrated after completion. Would not recommend this teacher to any student.
I took Chris DiOrio's Negotiations class at BC & was extremely disappointed in my experience with the class & professor. Unclear syllabus, no defined rubrics, not enough content to fill all scheduled classes. Did not feel I received the value I paid for the class and I would not recommend students take this, or any, class with this professor.
