I loved Calc up until I took this class. Very monotone voice and does not do a good job explaining anything. If youre new to the subject, good luck, I had some experience and I still elected to drop. Tests are really hard, studying takes a lot of time work, basically the rigor of 2 classes if youre brand new. Nice guy in person but not helpful

great professor. Always available outside of class. Non like some arrogant math professors, he always listens to your questions patiently and thinks together with you. Some said he is a little tedious during the class. But I don't think it matters much. Also, homework and tests are lecture based. Grading is really fair and he gives partial credit

Complete shmuck. Has monotone lectures where he does not engage the class at all and frankly doesn't convey the material very well. He is never available to meet outside of class and shows a lack of regard and respect for his students. He is super unclear about test topics and other important information. Avoid his Calc II class at all costs.

Professor Reed is a solid Calculus professor. He focuses mainly on lectures which can be kind of tedious and boring, but actually teaches the material. He has tons of examples and definitely comes to class prepared to teach. He isn't exceedingly accessible outside of class, but there is a discussion once a week that helps. Overall a good course.
