Scores average answered numerical ratings. Older evaluation records may summarize whole sections and have no written comment. Written reviews are counted separately. How scores work
Great professor that knows what you need to get a job and tries to make sure you get enough help in this regards. Lecture is not the clearest but the textbook is very thorough and easy to read. A lot of programming homework but if you spend the time to make sure it works properly then its an easy A.
His myro-bots class was the best class I took at BC. It wasn't my major but he was so fantastic at teaching programming to beginners,I would consider the CS074 class to be more of a "logical thinking" course than programming. His energy made the class fun and he is very approachable.
Signorile is fantastic... passionate, energetic, interesting, lectures are designed to bring students to a certain point and then take the next step on their own. Take as many of his classes as you can - had him for networks, architecture, CSII, and my thesis. Very accessible.
