Literally do not listen to the other reviews. This woman is strict and her exams are difficult for no reason. I took her course asynchronous with open-note exams and she still managed to make this difficult and blame my section when no one got good grades on the exam. I did not learn a thing.

I took abnormal psychology with her. Great professor: knowledgeable, funny, but strict. A lot of people say that her class isn't easy which is true. Three exams and a cumulative final plus mandatory attendance. I studied pretty hard and got 91 on the first exam and 88 on the second. A- and B+ are possible, but getting an A is pretty difficult.

Attendance is definitely mandatory to get a good grade. Her class isn't easy, but it is informative. Definitely don't get on her bad side but otherwise you'll be okay if you read the textbook, go to class, and study.

3 Exams and one cumulative final. If you mess up one exam, there goes your chances for an A. A lot of material to memorize which makes it difficult to enjoy the subject. I have done everything to prepare for the exams and have not gotten anything higher than a C+.

I took Abnormal Psychology with Prof Ogren and she was amazing. She's pretty strict but always fair. The class is hard, but if you pay attention, do the reading, and participate you will do well. She is extremely knowledgable and one of the best professors I've ever had. I really feel like I am learning, rather than just memorizing.
