Professor Murphy is extremely knowledgeable and is always available to help. That being said, this class is impossible. To prep you for a test, who will give you last semester's test. It doesn't help at all. I would not take this class if I were you.
Easily one of the VERY BEST classes I have ever sat through. It was also the first time EVER that I took economics. Extremely interesting class. The professor knows his stuff inside out, and is very helpful. Immediately signed up for statistics when I realized he was teaching the course. It was exactly the same as econ. He is just great!
Prof. Murphy is someone who knows his material inside and out. As someone who had for both Econ & Stats, you need to be at every class in order to do well. His tests are fair, and he is one professor who truly devotes his time both in class & out to make sure students understand the material. It's not an easy A, but I learned a lot from both cla
