Burgo is a caring, honest and truly funny guy -- he's also definitely the best fundamentals of music theory professor at BC. Quizzes and tests are frequent, but he preps you well and he will tell you exactly what's on them beforehand. So long as you do all the homework and study a small amount before tests, he'll help out your GPA.

Extremely kind and always transparent with tests and quizzes. Easy class with a music background. Manageable without background too. Definitely would recommend!

Very enthusiastic and kind. Good at explaining and always willing to answer questions. Easy grader, and, if you study hard enough, you may get out of taking the final exam! It sure cut my exam week down (it was supposed to be on the last day of exams - saved my week). Great guy. Would take him again. In fact, I am next semester.
