Taking him for Latin American Politics right now. Very engaging lectures, very engaging readings even if it may seem like a lot sometimes. Various little quizzes around, and a midterm, essay, and project that determine your grade, which he will grade very fairly. Tons of extra credit opportunities and all are very fun.
Highly recommend. Took Intro to Comp Politics with Dr. Bizzarro. Loved it and learned so much, very engaging lecturer and personable teacher. Very easy to do well, very responsive to emails and student concerns, and overall just a phenomenal guy. Lots of extra credit so super easy A. Could not recommend more.
Incredibly caring and passionate prof—he genuinely wants you to succeed. Lots of reading, but you don't need to do it all to keep up. Clear expectations, great feedback, and fair grading with plenty of extra credit. Varied assignment types give flexibility for your grade. One of the best professors in the department—highly recommend!

Great professor. Really interesting final project where we had to debate a constitution for a new country. 2 midterms, 15% each. Take him if you can!
