Took her at BU.
Class wasn't even about branded topic (some BEAM learning model). She showed up unprepared + relied on participation -- lots of "turn + talk." You had to work to get good feedback out of her. Assignments weren't bad, but really required your effort -- she wasn't much help. Maggie made the class boring + not worth it.
Professor Ferguson is very kind and a good teacher. There's not a ton of homework, she gives plenty of time to write papers, and she grades fairly. Would recommend for First Year Writing Seminar.
Great professor and person. Minor assignments are graded based on effort and she is flexible with major assignments. A fair grader for all essays and participation is a large part of the class but she makes it easy to get involved.
