I admire Prof. Staudinger's passion for Art History/teaching. She's an exceptional conversation partner with a kind soul. Lectures heavy, expectations abnormally high for a core class (Level 1000), assignments are tedious. Don't take this class unless you're using art history in your career. Better classes out there that fill core requirements.

Prof Staudinger is so sweet and asks to meet with each one of her students to get to know them. Lectures are boring (especially if you're not into art), but she tries so hard to make it interesting for any major. Class is mostly based on blue-book exams and 1 paper, had to really study for them.

A super sweet lady. She is extremely passionate about what she teaches. Most of the content comes from lectures and a small amount from reading. The lectures can be a little boring but not horrible. The tests are doable if you understand and know the content.

She's very passionate about what she teaches, but extremely hard art core. The exams are all memory-based, and there over dozens of works of arts to learn and compare/analyze significance. She talks very fast so its hard to keep up with notes sometimes. She is a very sweet person and cares about her students. Don't take if u want an easy grade.

Staudinger is one of the nicest professors I've ever met. Kind of like a crazy grandma, she is super caring and passionate about what she teaches. Class is tough though if memorization isn't your strong suite. Lots of information to know for the quizzes, midterm, and final. Otherwise, you don't have any homework or readings that you have to do.

She's caring and funny, but not that precise of a professor. The class is all memorization and her lectures stray away from the material we need to know. I respect her passion a lot and personally didn't have a problem keeping up in class, but memorization is my strong suit. It's not for everyone, so take another section if you think that's best.
