The class itself is very easy and the homework is easy, but when it comes time for the test you are screwed. She does not prepare you or teach to help you do well, but will give you a B even if you fail every test.

what is the purpose of all this

If you're looking for a class that is not so demanding, then maybe this class is for you. But it does not feel worth paying for and is geared towards Luddites

Worst teacher I've ever had. She never graded things on time, came into class late every day, and posted guidelines for assignments due the same day. So much unnecessary stress for a core class.

i wish i could describe the feeling going to this womans class, the pure hope that i would get brutally t-boned and never make the class. i beg you all to save yourself and find another class/professor for your credit. she was incredibly rude to me when i had to leave class early by 5 MINUTES for an emergency. incredibly boring.

Repeats random jargon she got off TikTok, or what she likes to call it 'Xiaohongshu.'

Doesn't update grades until the last week of the semester, so we aren't sure which one counts.

Brings her Pikmin to class sometimes!

IT IS JUST NO. IF YOU READ THIS, THEN DON'T WALK AWAY PLEASE RUN AWAY. She does not care about your grade, and I crashed out the entire semester because of this person. Again, NO.

This is genuinely the worst class I have ever taken. The content isn't even that difficult; it's just the teaching and exams. Information on her slideshows is often incorrect, and she said at the beginning of the year that she often uses AI in her material. I am learning absolutely nothing from this class.

Do not take Prof Wang unless they/them. They/them are a poor lecturer who transcribes notes to the board with zero context. They/them will spend the whole class on one problem with no context. I regret attending; I had to self-study the entire course online. The subject isn't impossibly hard, but you absolutely will not learn it from they/them.

funny and loved it

Don't take. Do you like to be happy? If yes, then don't even try taking this course. While some say correlation isn't causation. Wang CAUSED everything bad in my life.

I have no clue what is going on tbh

Disrespectful, office hours are a genuine waste of time

Genuinely would not recommend, don't have any many positive things to say about they/them, but they do not make the class any easier. Typical...

Did Finite with her and it was a chore. Not very good at explaining key concepts, but offers rewrites on just about every assignment. But once you get to the final no rewrite and you're screwed. Tests and quizzes are pretty easy, but understanding the actual concepts becomes difficult when she can't explain anything. Attendance is not mandatory.
