Scores average answered numerical ratings. Older evaluation records may summarize whole sections and have no written comment. Written reviews are counted separately. How scores work
Disorganized genius. Uses her own life experiences in the classroom to make her points, and she's a gifted storyteller with a ton of hilarious stories to tell. Too much fun to have class with, you won't regret it.
Natoli was very easy with only a little work due during the semester and the exams were both extremely easy. But she wasn't very helpful and didn't answer her email. Her lectures were interesting but she tended to get sidetracked a lot. Take Natoli if you're looking for an easy PoliSci course but if you're looking for a challenge, look elsewhere.
Great teacher, actually looked forward to going to her class. Does tend to lean (understatement of the year) to the left, but won't shoot you down if you have a view other than hers. Grading scale is different than usual, but it definitely benefits the student.
Dr. Natoli has unconventional methods of teaching. She ties in very funny stories from her life to parallel with whatever the class is studying at the moment to convey the thesis of her argument. Although she may hug an occasional tree on the Dust Bowl, she does listen to dissenting views.
She is one of the smartest people I've ever met. She knows what she is talking about, and enjoys teaching everything about politics. She is a published author, being the first author to write a book about the VP office of the US. Her grading scales are weird, but trust me, they work on your favor. Bottomline: Take Natoli, she rules!
She is super cool. You learn a lot in her classes (I have taken 3), and she is a really friendly and understanding person. She's not hard, but her classes are interesting so you want to go anyway. She is a crazy Democrat, but even if your not, it's still really fun to listen to her rants. Really, I cannot say enough good things about her.
