Took her for Data Visualization. Highly recommend. The class is not that hard and she does a great job of teaching Tableau. She does a good job of being accessible and reexplaining the tougher concepts. She is willing to give (pretty critical) feedback on assignments if you start early enough.
Report reviewTests are very difficult, but that's the same for all professors teaching this class. Her lectures are alright. She will work with you to ensure you understand the material or get all the points on a homework assignment, and is very responsive with emails.
Report reviewThe tests were challenging, but overall, not a bad class.

I took Wyner for Data Management for Analytics and Applications. He was great! You have to adjust to his teaching style but he is SO knowledgeable and smart. He gives a great study guide and is so willing to work with and help his students. Highly recommend you take Professor Wyner's class

Comment describes Coding for Business; the source ISYS1021 course label is not verified.
Shes not that bad of a professor, but her exams are way too hard for no reason. Unless you're a comp sci person coding for business will be a terrible class for you
Report reviewOne of the best instructors at BC. Getting A is so easy and If you have zero knowledge in programing he will make it super easy for you. Very humble person and he is so friendly.
Report reviewThe group project was very stressful and toughly graded. Quizzes were difficult, but they're manageable if you read the textbook. The final is ]challenging as well, so be prepared. An A is a 95 and A- is 90-95, so getting an A is pretty difficult.
Class was fair and she's approachable, but studying is a must even though content isn't bad.
Report reviewKarpovsky is an extremely kind teacher who is always ready to help her students, but her tests are impossible. It isn't necessary to read the textbook, but a lot of the cases she covers are in there to help, however even if you read you'll still struggle. Exams had many fill in the blank questions and multiple answer MC based on terms covered once.
Report reviewProf. Gu is very knowledgeable about digital tech. All homework quizzes can be taken multiple times for full credit, and you can have two notesheets (front and back each) for all quizzes, and six for the final. The group project assignments are laid out very clearly. This class was easy but I still learned a lot! I really recommend Prof. Gu.
Report reviewShe takes points off on many assignments for super picky stuff. Her quizzes are also very hard unless you put in a lot of hours studying. Overall a nice lady but a bad professor.
Report reviewProfessor Li is great! The class isn't too hard or a ton of work, but it is very content heavy. Mostly a lecture but he does his best to make it engaging. Some people claim to have difficulty understanding him but I never had a problem. Beware of the curve because it is not too hard exam wise, but the exams are a large portion of the grade.
Report reviewProfessor Li is super nice and cares about his students. His assignments were always fair, and he thoroughly prepared students for exams. If you read the material and pay attention in class, the course is not difficult. Professor Li was readily available outside of class and was honestly one of the kindest professors I have had so far.
Report reviewThe professor is extremely nice, but her quizzes are extremely HARD and that's like 30 percent of your grade. The assignments and homework are easy, but she makes the quizzes so hard it's impossible. Take another professor if you have the option to.
Report reviewProfessor Karpovsky is a great professor who is very fair. Standard. Lots of assignments every week but they're relatively easy. The quizzes are relatively hard but it's not a hard class overall. Just stay on top of things. If you ever need anything she's always helpful.
Report reviewProf. Li is a very nice guy. Tests/Quizzes are not hard and he gives study guides for them. As long as you pay attention and do the home-works this class should be an A. Also, he is very helpful if you ask questions during office hours
Report reviewLots of the grade comes just from completed assignments and 3 exams. She is super knowledgable and smart and is a good teacher of the subject. Her class has a relatively normal workload. Very nice lady.
Report reviewShe was knowledgeable and kind.
Report reviewClass was entirely online but was pretty easy to follow. Has some hands-on part but the main focus was digital strategy. The professor was very patient and caring with students.
Report reviewShe is a very nice and kind professor. The class is very inspiring and interesting, especially the discussion session.
Report reviewShe loves what she does, but unfortunately in my class (Fall 2018), her mic was messed up and we could barely hear her if we were stuck in the last 2 rows. I really love Excel so I enjoyed the class a lot, but I didnt think she was anything special as a professor. It was also her first semester teaching the course so I cut her some slack there.
Report reviewTons of reading and basically just reading the textbook in class
Report reviewShe doesn't even know what is she doing. She simply reads her powerpoint at class. In workshops, when students encounter problems, the only solution she has was to restart the program. She gives so much homework and quizzes and everything. I would not recommend to take her class.
Report reviewBest professor I've ever had. He makes the class so interesting; he is an amazing lecturer with just the right amount of humor. I got to learn so much. For assignments, he provides so many opportunities and resources for assistance. He is always willing to clarify assignments and help students. Take his class, you won't regret it.
Report reviewProf Wyner really wants the people in his class to succeed so his deadlines are not always super strict, knowing that students have a lot of work to balance at a given time. Lots of chances to resubmit work as well. Really really nice guy and a great professor!
Report reviewHe is an amazing professor and such a nice guy! I've taken two courses and TA'd for him and I would highly recommend for any of the classes that he teaches.
Report reviewAs long as you do homework, read, and pay attention in class while participating, the class is very easy. She is very approachable if you need help and wants you to succeed. You have unlimited tries to complete online quizzes and you are well prepared for exams with study material.
Report reviewVery easy professor and interesting lectures, doesn't take attendance every day
