Professor Rozonoer's class can be very boring and slow at times, but if you take good notes and study a bit before the exams and quizzes, you'll do fine.
THEO1420 · Theology
Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences
The Hebrew Bible/Old Testament has been an influential and often fundamental source for many modern, Western views of God, nature, human beings, a just society, and the origin and destiny of humanity and the world. An intelligent, serious reading of the Hebrew Bible raises most of the enduring questions that have traditionally stood at the center of philosophical and theological debate. Thus, a thorough analysis of texts from the Hebrew Bible in terms of the central concerns of the core curriculum will be the primary goal of THEO 1420 The Eternal Covenant: The Hebrew Bible. Satisfies Core requirement for: Theology (Sacred Texts and Traditions)

Attendance is required plus pop quizzes. Tough grader on the midterms but attendance + pop quizzes make enough of the grade to make up for it. Lecture can get a little boring but he's a funny guy and will try to make the content engaging.

He's a very nice guy who tries to make lectures as engaging as possible for a class with boring content. The class is mostly just history, and the quizzes are very difficult. The TA mostly grades essays and exams. There are so many easier core classes.

I didn't study well for the first test, and it screwed my grade, but overall, Professor Cooley is a very solid and nice guy. 70% of the grade is 3 tests and a paper, the other 30% is gimme points basically.
