Walton was my favorite professor from my freshman year! He made the Bible SUPER engaging and really cares about his students. Participating in the class made the material so much easier to understand and his tests were super straightforward- he gives you a study guide and thorough class notes with all the necessary info. I highly recommend!

Dr. Walton is a great teacher and you will need to go to class to pass. Only about an hour of work per week. Has a habit of getting on furniture and will yell at you Hebrew. Overall great professor if you want to know more about the Old Testament.

Very tough grader with minimal feedback. Lectures/reading never pertained to what we had to write about in our "Blog Posts". Wants really specific nitty-gritty details that you were never taught.

Really nice guy, but lectures are hard to follow. You have to teach yourself the material. Also, if you have no working knowledge of the Bible, do not take this class.
