Course is challenging by nature, especially cause Spanish department does not curve. However, Prof. Pons really cares about her students and is informative & engaging in class. If you show up, you will learn. Highly recommend.

Professor Pons is great. Her lectures are good and she teaches in a very effective manner. There's nightly homework but it's not difficult and can usually be done pretty fast. There are a few group projects but they're not bad. Overall, Professor Pons is a great professor for Intermediate Spanish 1 and I would definitely recommend her.

Marcel Pons is a pretty decent Spanish Professor, if you have a solid background on the topics. She goes pretty fast which makes it a difficult to understand the material if you are not familiar with it. With that, she is always more than willing to provide extra help and is a super nice and approachable person.

Marcel is great for intro Spanish. The syllabus and expectations are clear from the get go. She moves pretty quickly but is young and understanding and is accessible outside of class if you need help. The tests are very fair and the review is thorough. If you try, you can do really well.
