For an introductory anatomy course, this was way to complicated. The professor used AI for everything, made frequent mistakes, did not give back exams for review, and taught material irrelevant to the course. She blames low averages on the students "lacking critical thinking." A potentially simple course made impossible.

Uses ai for everything. never teaches properly. won't tell you what you got wrong. Also nitpicky when it comes to free response questions. Unit homeworks are time consuming, unhelpful. No final exam

I wanted to like her but its kinda just insane i spend more time studying for this class than I did orgo1 and 2. Also she is not accomodating at all no matter what your going through. Many major mistakes.

For reference, this is meant to be an introductory anatomy course for freshmen students. Our class slides were sent to upperclassmen students in the nursing school and they told us that they were learning the same things in adult health 2. In other words, the content is more difficult than it is supposed to be, and not applicable to the class.

This is genuinely the worst class I have ever taken. The content isn't even that difficult; it's just the teaching and exams. Information on her slideshows is often incorrect, and she said at the beginning of the year that she often uses AI in her material. I am learning absolutely nothing from this class.

One of the worst classes I've taken. The professor often didn't know the material and told students to “look it up.” Exams were poorly written and unclear, homework was endless busywork, and office hours were by appointment only (aka don't bother). Very little actual teaching or support.

I wanted to like her, I really did, but her passive aggressiveness is just not professional. It is clear, as well as admitted, that she uses AI for her slides and she just reads off of them without providing any extra information or discussion. It is her first year teaching, so I will try to just give her the benefit of the doubt.

Professor is very unprofessional and as a lot of other people have said- sends passive-aggressive emails that often places blame on students. Often makes mistakes during exams(lab + lecture) and doesn't offer much explanation other than just changing our grade or saying that the error was already accounted for.

Pretty much self-taught myself the material for this course as she just reads off her slides (which she has openly admitted to creating with AI) and cannot go deeper or give examples if students ask for them. Some HWs have nothing to do with her exam content but are required and a huge waste of time. Passive aggressive and cares more about herself.

Avoid if possible. I don't know how she was hired. Not knowledgable. Provides no guidance about exam preparation. Sends passive aggressive emails to entire class when she is bothered. Penalizes you when you spell something wrong but her slides are full of errors. Uses inaccurate terminology (yeet, fingies, etc.). Disappointing for a school like BC.

Cares more about being "quirky" than teaching the class. Says unprofessional things during lecture and sends rude emails. Doesn't explain things well, I understood the content by teaching myself. Not an engaging lecturer, I'd zone out until she would say something ridiculous like "yeet," "benson boone backflip," or "boi" in the middle of class.

Pretends to care about students but when it comes down to it she would rather do things in very disrespectful mannners and f*** you over at the expense of her personal comfort. Her grading makes no sense at times and she invites you to contest them but always rejects her students. Her classes are unorganized, is horrible at explaining anything.

Pros: -Young so she kinda understands what we go through as students. -Final is a project -Everything on the exam is from slides -all homework's are doable and help with ur grade. lectures are very boring, she reads off her slides like an audiobook. to study for tests/exams i just took notes off the slides and taught myself the material and scored decently. very easy to self study if youre on top of it, you don't even have to attend lectures she's a nice person but doesn't teach efficiently

The worst professor ever in terms of being accessible for any help. She genuinely hawks you down if you ask any sort of question and will send extremely unprofessional emails to the students with profanity and inappropriate language/wording. Was required to take this class for my major, but genuinely if you can, avoid her.

Class is not crazy difficult but I wouldn't recommend Barlow. Can be disorganized/unprofessional. Expect last-minute emails about course changes. Exams are straightforward (only content from lecture slides), but usually have many mistakes. Brings her dog to class sometimes. Some random busy work, but can be good grade buffers. Final is a project.

The lectures are just her reading off the slides, and all the slides are AI-generated. When students ask questions in class, she reads the slide back to them or googles it. It then often feels like she does not know the material. She says she's open to questions, but when you ask questions, she is very unprofessional and passive-aggressive.
