I loved professor Feldman! She is a tough professor but she deeply cares about her students. If you need help, she is there for you ready to walk you through things. She cold calls, and will call you out if you were not prepared, but it forces you to truly put your all into the work and understand it. I wish I could take every CSOM class with her!
Professor Feldman is one of the best professors I have had during my time at BC. Her FAST II class is not easy, and attendance is definitely mandatory, but I would 100% recommend to any accounting major. Feldman cares about all of her students, and is extremely knowledgable about the CPA track.
Be prepared to be cold-called every single day and DO THE HOMEWORK. The midterm and final matter a lot for your grade, but the exams are extremely straight forward and there are no curveballs. As long as you do the homework and study, there's no reason you should do poorly. Every exam question is a different version of something you already saw.
Feldman is the best financial accounting prof in the department. She prints out lecture slides for every chapter and explains difficult concepts really well. There are online reading quizzes before every class and lots of hw. exams are easy if you do the hw and understand the concepts. she also grades generously.
Hardest Class offered in CSOM hands down but Diane will get you through it if you work hard. This class will require a LOT of effort, studying and staying on top of your game. it is NOT for the weak and she will say that on day 1. If you work hard and show her that she will give you at least a B. You WILL learn ACCT or die trying in this class.
