Extra textbook required, a huge amount of extra expenses. He's a good person but not that good at teaching and explaining concepts in an organized way. Gives a feeling that he only starts preparing material the night before class.
He's a very nice professor and he wants to help you, he just struggles at dumbing down the topics sometimes. It's like he super understands what he's talking about but can't break it down very well. However, he makes himself very available for questions and is always willing to clarify.
Mr. Allgood genuinely wants you succeed in his class. He is extremely kind and will always talk about your questions if you go to his office hours. The reviews are very similar to the exams and he holds review sessions for each test. Homework is graded by completion. As a non-accounting major, I was able to understand and learn a lot.
Had Prof. Allgood for financial accounting; it was a very good experience. He managed to make what can be a rather dry subject engaging and easy to understand. There was quite a bit of homework, but only graded for completion. Expectations for exams were clearly laid out and he held extra office hours to review for them.

He was an awesome teacher overall, and I might go into accounting as a result of his class. It was generally easy and I enjoyed going to class
