Wants her students to succeed. Very friendly. I liked her method of warming calling for participation--encourages mistakes as its part of learning. Always made sure students understand the concept and responds quickly to emails. Workload is fairly manageable. Just weekly homework and online take home quiz. Exams are exactly what were discussed

This is literally the worst professor at BC. AVOID. anyone else would be easier to listen to. She doesn't know how to turn on her computer or anything with an electric pulse running through it. She will talk about herself, her kids or her time at bently the entire class and then slam you with a group project worth 40% of your grade at the end.

Personally, I was confused by her explanations of most concepts in class, though if you naturally understand accounting she's probably a great teacher. The course was very homework and test-heavy, homework problems are solved differently than in-class which made it very confusing in my opinion. Very nice and caring professor though.

Makes contents extra complicated than it should be. Gets super confusing in class but could understand if I just read the textbook without going to class.

Prof. Kelly provides real-world experiences in her lectures and also explains arcane concepts in accounting that may be confusing to someone who doesn't know accounting in a clear and concise way. She's definitely not easy though but is willing to help at all times.
