It was the easiest class I have taken. There are a few quizzes, but they are very easy. She is super friendly and understanding. There is not much homework.

Amazing! I don't have enough good things to say about this class. It's very light work, and nothing is graded except one assignment at the end. She is very understanding and kind. I would 100% take it again.
She is awesome - does not grade, just provides really helpful feedback. Our portfolios are graded which are reviews of work that we have done throughout the course. She appreciates participation but is welcome to any response. I can not say enough good things. She is the BEST.
Best teacher for stats, she sees when someone is trying their best and rewards it. Paying attention to class goes a long way. Her exams are basically problems from the Home Work and Practice Test. A LOT OF PARTIAL POINTS. Unless you leave it blank, you will get points for it.
Super engaging and explains everything really well. Exams are very fair as long as you take good notes in class. Definitely the best Perspectives professor.
Not the most engaging, but pretty standard for FYW. Very sweet and approachable, and very good at giving feedback on work. HW can feel like busy work at times, but it's better than some of the other teachers. Not bad to get the core out of the way
Class moves quickly, but if you keep up with the textbook readings (1, maybe 2 chapters a week) it will make so much more sense. She genuinely cares about her students, and is always available for office hours. Keep up with the textbook and the class is pretty manageable
Awesome guy, great lecturer, and is always open to hearing feedback from students. He really cares about his students. Make a small effort in class (not hard in a 2.5 hour class) and he'll be incredibly receptive to you. Highly recommend
She is a great lecturer, the course material is interesting, the exam is straightforward and she is a very considerate professor!!
He hates his job and puts too much work and grades very weirdly with harsh scales. Great guy to talk to and have conversation, but a terrible teacher. He is literally a deadbeat musician that's just a teacher to make ends meet. Sad, but true.
Top 3 best professors I've had at BC. While the papers do demand a little effort, he is more the happy to help out in office hours.
I took Calculus I with Dr. Ward. Explains concepts very well and is personable and understanding. Felt very prepared for assessments. Highly recommend.
I was graded very harshly. I got an A+ in Europe in the World I, yet a B- in Europe in the World II. The course content itself was very interesting, although the pace was insane.

Probably harder than other perspectives professors but the lectures, assignments, and readings were all great. Felt like I learned more than I ever have in any other class.
Good straightforward lectures with very light homework - usually 1-5 problems per week. Exams are hard but if you study with the practice tests they're doable. Super knowledgable.
The tests are tough and she moves pretty fast. She is enthusiastic but not the greatest teacher. Office hours are accessible. Her lectures/pps are all copied off powerpoints rather than teaching it in her own more comprehensive way.
Best professor at BC
Great teacher, and very knowledgeable writer. He's absolutely hilarious. Yes he is political and speaks a lot about politics, but even if you disagree with him he is respectful and won't knock your grade or dislike you as a person. Would absolutely recommend.

An extremely engaging teacher who makes 2 hour 30 minute classes not dreadful. If you do not like the substance of the class (heavy reading workload), this class will be very difficult to do. It is a strenuous workload, but worth it.
Worst. Professor. Ever.
Interesting class content but grades far too harshly for it to be worth it
That review was by my son, who posted it as a joke. He "rated" the course "special ops" since I'm an operations professor.
Best language teacher I've ever had. Very kind. Teaches you a lot, especially conversationally.
Explains things using interesting anecdotes
She was very enthusiastic about the course and came prepared with extensive resources that could be used in real-world applications. One of my favorite professors!
STATA GOAT.
Good class, do not mess around with her attendance policy though - missing any more than exactly one class is detrimental to your grade.
This class is a must-take, you even get to learn about taxes!
The greatest Professor ever. She’s the sweetest
For the love of god, take someone else. He’s horrible
